The whole process takes a few minutes of your time. Checking costs nothing, and you see every number before you commit to anything.
Step 1 — Enter your registration number
Type your vehicle number exactly as it appears on the plate. Spaces, dashes and capitalisation do not matter; we normalise the format, including newer BH-series and shorter older series numbers.
Step 2 — Verify your mobile number
We send a six-digit code by SMS. This exists to stop people looking up vehicles that are not theirs — challan records reveal where a vehicle was and when, and that is not information we will hand to a stranger. The code expires after a few minutes and can only be used once.
We use your number to verify the request and to update you about an order. We do not send marketing messages.
Step 3 — Review what came back
You will see every pending challan we could find, split into two groups.
Challans we can act on (green)
These are compoundable offences in states where we operate. For each one you see the offence, the date, the location if reported, the government amount, and our fee. You choose which ones to proceed with — it does not have to be all of them.
Challans we cannot act on (red)
These require something we cannot do for you. The most common reason is that the offence requires the registered owner to appear before a court in person; drunk driving is the clearest example. We will not take payment for these. We can put you in touch with an advocate to prepare for the hearing, which is a different service and priced differently.
Step 4 — Pay
Payment is taken through a PCI-compliant gateway. We never see or store your card details. Your order records the exact amounts at the moment of purchase, so a later change to our pricing never affects an order you have already placed.
If your connection drops after paying, do not pay again. Our system reconciles with the gateway every fifteen minutes and will complete the order automatically.
Step 5 — Upload your documents
After payment we ask for your registration certificate and a photo ID, so the advocate can show the vehicle is yours. Documents are encrypted at rest and only the assigned advocate can open them.
Step 6 — Track the case
An advocate in the relevant state is assigned, usually automatically. Your order page shows who is handling it and a running timeline: documents received, filed in court, hearing scheduled, order passed, closed. Notes the advocate marks as visible to you appear there too.
How long does it take?
It depends entirely on the state, the offence and the court's listing schedule. A straightforward compoundable challan may resolve in a few weeks. A matter that needs a hearing date takes as long as the court takes. We will not invent a timeline to make the service sound better than it is — what we will do is tell you what stage your matter is actually at.
